Astrology is the study of the movements of celestial objects from earth’s point of view. Astrologers study the cycles and patterns of the planets in relation to one another and translate the language of the cosmos to help people understand themselves, the world and the people around them on a deeper level. Therefore, astrology is not a belief system, it’s a language.

Astrology has always been associated with a wide range of belief systems for thousands of years. Every spiritual or philosophical viewpoint can be applied to astrology. However, what all astrologers agree on is that astrology is based on the concept of correlation, not causality. What’s happening in the sky is simply reflected on earth. “As above, so below, as within, so without, as the universe, so the soul,” as the saying goes.

Finally, most modern astrologers, including myself, hold the belief that the stars incline, but don’t determine. Therefore, free will is not excluded in modern astrology, although partial free will is more likely to be assumed.

Your birth chart is a screenshot of the sky at the exact moment and location you were born. It’s a visual representation of the sky with the positions of all the planets and all the signs at the moment you took your first breath. Your birth chart is your own unique cosmic imprint that reveals a significant amount of information about you, your past, present and future, and serves as a magnificent tool for self-discovery and self-actualization.

During an astrology reading, we’ll dive into your birth chart or other astrology charts, depending on the type of reading. I will translate the language of the cosmos for you in a clear, understandable way. An astrology reading with me is always a conversation where you share what you're moving through. I will try to hold a closed container for you so that you feel seen, heard and accepted. I will draw on my background as a counselor and ask the questions that spark a transformation in yourself. I can predict the future to a certain extent. I can tell you what themes, feelings and types of events will come into play in the future and give you advice, but there’s always free will involved. Ultimately, what will happen is up to you.

I practice western, tropical astrology with an eclectic mix of modern and traditional astrology techniques. Over the years I have mastered many branches of astrology: psychological astrology, relationship astrology (synastry and composite charts), mundane astrology, locational astrology (astrocartography), black luminaries astrology and predictive astrology (solar returns, transits, secondary progressions, annual profections and zodiacal releasing). I’d like to draw from different schools of astrological thought, and combine them with my own intuition and observations. In addition, I practice astrology through an intersectional lens, which means that I value individual experiences and read charts in the context of societal systems and frameworks, in order to have a deeper understanding of where you fit into the bigger picture of the world.

I use the Whole Signs house system for transits, annual profections and zodiacal releasing, and the Placidus house system for everything else, including birth charts and solar return charts.

In order to read your birth chart, all I need is your date of birth, your exact time of birth and your place of birth.

Please keep in mind that a time of birth that is exact to the minute is essential for the accurate casting of your birth chart. I highly recommend requesting a birth certificate from the municipality where you were born, since it states your exact time of birth. If this is not an option for you, please contact me before you book a reading and I'll see what I can do for you.
